Your details, handled with care
Mu Zagaya Travel and Tours Limited (RC 9878188) is responsible for the personal data you give us. This notice explains what we collect and why, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and how you would like us to contact you.
- The details of the trip you ask about: destinations, dates, travellers and budget.
- For bookings: traveller names, dates of birth, passport details and copies of travel documents, and payment records.
- Messages you send us on the website, by WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals for you.
- To book flights, hotels, visas, insurance and other services you ask for.
- To take payments, issue receipts and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
- To send you updates about your trip on the channel you choose. We do not send marketing without your permission.
Who we share it with
- Airlines, hotels, ground handlers, insurers and visa authorities, only as needed for your trip.
- Service providers who help us run the platform, such as payment gateways, messaging and secure storage, under contract.
- Authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your data.
How we protect it
- Passport numbers are encrypted, and passport and visa files are kept in private storage that only authorised staff can open. Every access is logged.
- We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as the law requires for accounting, and delete passport scans once they are no longer needed for your trip.
Your rights
- You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
- You can withdraw consent to WhatsApp updates at any time by telling your consultant.
- You can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
